This Shipping Policy explains how delivery works for products purchased directly from Outpacker through the checkout on our website.
Important: Some products on Outpacker are offered through affiliate links. If you follow a link and complete your purchase on another retailer's website, that retailer is responsible for processing, shipping, tracking and delivering your order. The retailer's shipping policy applies to that purchase.

1. Which orders this policy covers
This policy applies only where you complete payment through the Outpacker checkout and your order confirmation identifies Outpacker as the seller.
If your order confirmation or receipt is issued by another retailer, your purchase is an affiliate purchase. Please contact that retailer directly about dispatch, tracking, delivery charges, customs fees, delays, missing parcels or address changes.
2. Order processing
Unless a product page, checkout message or order confirmation states otherwise, we aim to process direct orders within one business day. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England.
Orders placed after 12 noon, or on a weekend or public holiday, may begin processing on the next business day.
Processing time is the period needed to prepare an order for dispatch. It is separate from the carrier's estimated delivery time.
If an item is unavailable or processing will be materially delayed, we will contact you using the details supplied with your order.
3. Shipping destinations
We currently ship direct Outpacker orders to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Available delivery areas and any postcode restrictions will be shown at checkout.
An external retailer reached through an affiliate link may deliver to other countries. Its delivery areas, charges and policies are separate from ours.
4. Shipping methods and delivery estimates
Available shipping methods and estimated delivery times for direct orders are displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates normally begin when the order is dispatched, not when it is placed.
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date with you. However, we will deliver within the agreed period or, where no delivery period has been agreed, without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the order contract is formed, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Severe weather, carrier disruption, transport disruption or another event outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. If a material delay occurs, we will contact you and explain the options available.
5. Shipping costs
The delivery options and charges available for your direct order will be shown before you submit the order. Charges may depend on the delivery address, parcel size or weight, order value and selected delivery method.
Where free delivery is available, the applicable order value, products, destinations and other conditions will be displayed on the website or at checkout.
We will not add a mandatory delivery charge after you have submitted your order unless you expressly agree to it.
6. Taxes, duties and import charges
The total amount collected by Outpacker for a direct order, including applicable taxes and delivery charges that we can calculate, will be displayed before you submit the order.
If a direct-sale product will be dispatched from outside the United Kingdom and may attract import VAT, customs duty, brokerage or carrier handling fees that are not collected at checkout, we will provide clear information before you order about the potential charges and who is responsible for paying them.
Where checkout states that taxes and duties are prepaid, you should not be asked to pay those same charges again at delivery. If you receive an unexpected request for payment relating to a direct Outpacker order, contact us before paying where reasonably possible.
For an affiliate purchase, the external retailer determines the taxes, duties and import arrangements. Review its checkout and shipping policy before ordering.
7. Order tracking
When a direct order is dispatched, we will send a dispatch confirmation to the email address supplied with the order. If the selected delivery service supports tracking, the message will include a tracking number or link.
Tracking information may take time to appear after the carrier receives the parcel. If tracking has not updated for an unusual period, contact us with your order number.
8. Split shipments
Items from the same direct order may occasionally be dispatched separately. If this happens, you may receive more than one dispatch confirmation or tracking link.
We will not charge an additional delivery fee solely because we choose to split an accepted order, unless a different arrangement was clearly disclosed and agreed before purchase.
9. Delivery addresses
Please check the recipient name, house or building number, street, postcode and other delivery details carefully before submitting your order.
If an address needs to be corrected, email team@outpacker.co.uk as soon as possible. We will try to make the change, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be amended after processing or dispatch has begun.
We may ask you to pay a reasonable re-delivery cost where a parcel is returned because the address supplied with the order was incomplete or incorrect, provided that the charge is explained before re-delivery is arranged. This does not apply where the delivery problem was caused by us or our carrier.
If you instruct a carrier to leave a parcel in a nominated safe place or with a nominated person, delivery completed in accordance with those instructions may be treated as delivery to you.
10. Failed delivery and uncollected parcels
If nobody is available to receive a direct order, the carrier may leave delivery instructions, try again, deliver to an authorised collection point or follow any safe-place instructions you provided.
Please collect or rearrange delivery within the carrier's stated timeframe. If a parcel is returned to us, contact us so that we can discuss re-delivery or any refund due under the circumstances and applicable law.
11. Lost, damaged or delayed orders
For a direct purchase, the goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or to a person you nominated to receive them. An exception may apply if you independently arranged a carrier that we did not offer.
If your direct order is missing, arrives damaged or is materially delayed, email team@outpacker.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. For damage, include clear photographs of the item and packaging where reasonably possible.
We will investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement, re-delivery, cancellation or a refund.
For an affiliate purchase, report the issue directly to the external retailer shown on the order confirmation or receipt.
12. Order changes and cancellations
To request a change or cancellation for a direct order, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or stopped after processing or dispatch has begun.
If an order has already been dispatched, follow our Return and Refund Policy. That policy explains your cancellation and return rights and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Changes or cancellations for affiliate purchases must be requested from the external retailer.
13. Contact us

For an order placed on another retailer's website, contact that retailer directly.
